In response to Governor DeWine’s announcement on May 12th regarding the removal of most pandemic health orders effective June 2nd, the OSA Powell Pool Board of Trustees have confirmed with the Delaware Department of Health that we can open the pool on June 2nd without the need of reservations or social distancing policies as stated in our previous email. We are happy to announce that on June 2nd the Powell Pool will open to our members at full capacity operating business per usual.
We still plan to open on Friday, May 28th; however, we must be in compliance with the Health Order until June 2nd. We ask members to be flexible and follow the amended TEMPORARY guidelines listed below only from May 28th – June 1st:
- We will NOT have reservations; however, we will have a maximum capacity limit of 318 members until June 2nd. It will be first come, first serve.
- We will shut down for cleaning at the following times. We ask that everyone leave the pool deck at these times.

If you still have concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our best to get back to you within a day or two.
We look forward to reopening and having the BEST SUMMER EVER! Thank you for your patience and kind understanding! See you at the pool!
